The Bavarian Forest, also known as the Bohemian Forest, is a major holiday destination area.  It is inexpensive, easy to get to and a great hub for visiting larger cities not only in Germany but in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria.

Located on the in the SE corner of Germany, bordering the Czech Republic and Austria, the Bavarian Forest is the largest National Park in Germany and is joined with a sister park over the border in the Czech Republic.  This area, also known as Bohemia, is well known as a glass center in Europe and for its’ natural beauty.
